Cynthia Anne Interiors offers both real estate home staging to sell and interior decorating services in northern Virginia, Washington DC and suburban Maryland. Our training understands the "difference" between staging to sell and decorating for living and we are able to offer both perspectives to our clients.

After owner Cindy Fortin received training to become a Certified Interior Decorator she discovered Home Staging To Sell.

She enjoys helping clients freshen their spaces by creating a new feeling in as little as one room or the entire house or office. Cindy is the first person living in the Virginia, Washington DC and Maryland region to become an Accredited Staging Professional Master™. She regularly receives continuing education feeling this is the best way to serve her clients. Cindy is a member of Stagedhomes.com, the International Association of Home Staging Professionals, the Washington DC IAHSP chapter, the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and is featured on www.homestagingonline.com and http://www.linkedin.com. Her training, experience and designations put her in a unique position in the local industry. She has been interviewed by the Washington Post, Washington Times, DC Modern Luxury magazine and Southern Maryland Living about the advantages of home Staging. Cindy also wrote "Staging To Sell In A Tough Market" in May 2009 for The Loudoun Independent, highlighting the important aspects of real estate Staging for today's market. Her staged listings have also been featured on HGTV's "House Hunters" as the property the buyers purchased. HGTV also selected one of the her staged vacant properties as the new competition for the house "Get It Sold" was staging to sell. Look for the spring issue 2010 of "Southern Maryland Living" where Cindy contributed many ideas to making your home more serene and peaceful.

In 2007, Cindy was joined full time by her husband Doug, who is a huge benefit to the Staging team. Having been a realtor prior to becoming a full time Stager not only does he see things from a realtor's perspective but has a great eye as to how a room should be Staged. Doug additionally has extensive knowledge of construction and landscaping and is able to offer suggestions in those areas as well. He also received training from Stagedhomes giving the team a well rounded advantage. For large projects they have talented and efficient assistants to get the job done quickly and with style.

As a testimony to our finished product, the bulk of our business has come from realtors and clients who have either seen the quality of our work or have been referred to us. We feel this is the highest compliment we can receive and continually strive to "raise the bar" on the standard of our work.
